Graham began his career in the Legal department of The Provident Mutual Life Assurance Association and ultimately specialising in drafting scheme documentation for Final Salary Employee Benefits.
This highly visible position attracted many offers which culminated in being appointed The Regional Pension’s Director for Commercial Union, responsible for 150 Broker Development Managers. Graham became the company’s first Compliance Officer following the introduction of The Financial Services Act in 1986.
In 1998, having learned his trade with the large corporates for 26 years Graham took the decision to branch out into his own Financial Services company which quickly developed into one of the South East’s premier independent financial advising companies.
In 2014 Graham transferred his business into a new company Montgomery Paul. A name chosen to honour the memory of each of his maternal grandmothers. Montgomery Paul Limited will be a lasting tribute to two of the most honourable people that shaped his life.
